Biology system game: Foxes, Rabbits and Carrots

Avi Chimov
Student

A simulation of predator-prey system. Rabbits are wandering in a given 2D area. A rabbit that gets close to a pile of carrots, converges to its position and changes mode to “eating”. Foxes are also wandering in this area. When getting close to rabbits they move into “casing” mode, in order to hunt the rabbit (which move to “escape mode”). The 2D area is divided into 4 quarters, Each controlled by a different computer. An additional computer serves as the graphical server using WxWidgets.
