Parallel computation of author number using MapReduce

Rafi Dadon

The DBLP database will be parsed from XML into a raw data. The data will be split among several computers. Inputing an author name, use MapReduce down to depth of 4 to compute the author number. Four computers with multiple cores will be used. A graphical server will present the results in a form of a tree using GraphViz.
